The Must-Have Florida Seafood Guide

From Mayport shrimp to fresh spiny lobster, fresh Florida seafood is a mealtime staple for many Floridians. Whether you’re purchasing your seafood from Publix or a local fisherman or catching it yourself (like me!), seafood is always in season in the Sunshine State.

Some seafood, however, is freshest during certain months of the year. That’s where this handy guide comes in. It lists the fresh Florida seafood you’ll find in stores or on boats each month of the year. Pair your fresh catch with seasonal produce for a truly Florida-grown meal.
